Church, Hall and Facilities

The church building, hall and garden are a centre of service to the local community and we have strong links with churches in the area through the Churches Together in Beckenham.

We have an active Brownie group and Pre-School using the halls, which are also available to hire for meetings, parties, keep fit classes and groups. We have a fully fitted kitchen and the main hall has a stage.

Brownie Guides

The 16th Beckenham Brownie Pack is a thriving unit usually with approximately twenty four 7 - 10 year old girls and 2 adult leaders. We meet for 1 1/2  hours every Monday and provide a varied programme. In an average term we will learn new skills, do some arts and crafts, drama, play games, sing, put on shows (i.e. fashion / talent), do badge work and raise money for charity. We also go on a number of trips (for example ten pin bowling, trips to London and the park). We join other Brownies, Rainbows and Guides for District events such as Brownie Fun Day, parties and carol services. During the summer holidays we join with another Beckenham unit and a unit from Deal for a week long holiday in Westgate which is thoroughly enjoyed by both the girls and the adults. We also enjoy Church Parades throughout the year and love being involved in them.

For any information please contact us at 16thbeckenhambrownies@live.co.uk or to put your daughter on the waiting list please go to join us on the girlguiding website and follow the instructions.

Langley Pre-School

The popular Langley Pre School for children between the ages of 2-4 is run by Mrs Jenny Jupp 020 8402 8320 and takes place in the Hall from Monday to Friday.

It has been established for over 30 years and received outstanding Ofsted grades in all areas in 2010.

Halls and Facilities

The Church Hall, Elmer Room and Garden are all available to hire and come with the use of the kitchen with an oven, gas hob and washing up facilities. We have an accesible toilet and baby changing facility. Both halls come with chairs and tables.
